Can I cancel my order?

If you need to revise or cancel your order, reach out to me immediately within 24 hours of placing the order at elissa@elissamariecreative.com. I can only honor cancellations if:

• Any made-to-order items have not yet gone into production
• No shipping labels have been created yet

If one of the above has already occurred, I will not be able to cancel your order. As a one-person small business, I appreciate your understanding!

Help! I entered the wrong shipping address.

If you entered the wrong shipping address (old addresses can easily get autofilled when paying with PayPal, for example), please reach out to me immediately at elissa@elissamariecreative.com with the correct address. If it is within 24 hours of placing the order, I can easily edit the shipping address on my end. If an order has already been shipped, however, there is nothing I can do. You can try reaching out to the carrier to see if you can have it re-routed, or reaching out to the current resident.

Please double check your address before placing an order to avoid delays in processing and shipping. Thank you!

Can I return an item?

Did something go wrong? I am happy to offer returns or refunds for items that are:

  • damaged upon arrival
  • incorrect or missing

Reach out to me within 14 days of delivery to start a return, refund, or replacement. I am a one-person operation, and therefore cannot accommodate returns outside of the above parameters. Thank you for understanding!

Why do some of my items arrive in separate packages?

I like to offer a wide range of products for my customers, and the best way to do that as a single-person run small business with very limited storage space, is to utilize a combination of made-to-order items and stocked items. That means some items are fulfilled by me in Austin, Tx, and some items are fulfilled by the manufacturer or printer. Below is a general list of items and their fulfillment methods so you can shop accordingly.

Fulfilled by me (and shipped together):
  • Stickers
  • Notebooks
  • Socks
  • Tote Bags
  • Greeting Cards (seasonal)
  • Calendars (seasonal)

Fulfilled elsewhere (made-to-order, each shipped separately)
  • Art Prints
  • Blankets
  • Beanies
  • T-shirts
  • Mugs

How long do orders take to arrive?

In general, all domestic U.S. orders should be delivered to you within 2 weeks. Because my items are fulfilled from a few different places, they will arrive at different times. Do you offer local pickup?

I do not currently offer local pick up for website sales at this time. I may be able to accommodate a local Austin, Tx pickup for certain items. Reach out to me at elissa@elissamariecreative.com to inquire.

Can I expedite my order?

Because some of my products are fulfilled by different methods (and therefore different shipping methods), expedited production or shipping is not currently an option. If you have a special deadline, reach out and I will do my best to accommodate!

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, I ship internationally. Please allow anywhere from 2 to 4+ weeks for international order delivery. We are not responsible for any import taxes due upon delivery.

Why didn't I get a tracking number for my stickers?

When up to 6 stickers are ordered alone, or in combination with a made-to-order item, I will mail your stickers (for free) through standard USPS postal system in a stamped envelope. Unfortunately, this means I do not offer tracking info for these types of orders. If you do not receive your stickers within 7 days, please reach out to me at elissa@elissamariecreative.com.

If you order more than 6 stickers, or in combination with in-stock items (notebooks, socks, tote bags), they will all ship together via tracked and insured First Class mail.

I appreciate your patience! As I grow and expand my business, I aim to simplify my shipping methods and hold more items in stock.

My order never arrived, what now?

If your tracking info says it is delivered, but you can't find your package, first try the following:

• Check your neighbor's porches -- sometimes packages are mis-delivered nearby.
• If you live in an apartment, contact your leasing office to inquire about misdelivered packages.
• Contact the shipping carrier to get more info and to start the claims process if necessary.

Once a package is dropped off with the carrier, its fate is in the hands of the shipping gods, and out of my control. I have access to the same tracking info that you do, and don't have any inside connections to the postal service. If something looks awry in your tracking, or if a package arrives damaged from transit, please contact the relevant carrier first for more info or to file a claim.

Can I get your art tattooed?

The short answer is yes, with the purchase of a Tattoo Ticket. A tattoo ticket doubles as a virtual tip jar and a permission slip to use my art as tattoo inspiration. When you purchase a tattoo ticket, you will gain permission to use the likeness of one of my existing artworks for one personal tattoo design. Any of my images (that's not someone else's custom commission) is fair game. If you're not sure if an image of mine can be tattooed, drop me a line and I'd be happy to clarify.

Do you do commissions?

Yes, I absolutely do! I love creating custom art for people, and you can learn more at the Custom Art page of my website. Most of the commissions I do are people or pet portraits, but I can create any kind of image you'd like that fits in my art style. Below is a typical workflow for commissions:

  1. Reach out! Fill out my contact form to discuss your ideas.

  2. I will send you a quote for your idea, and info on physical art print pricing.

  3. Pay a 50% deposit to reserve your spot on my production calendar.

  4. I will send you a sketch for approval, at which point you can request edits and changes.

  5. When it is complete, I will send you a high-res digital file of the illustration.

  6. Pay the remaining 50% balance.

Turnaround times can vary based on my current workload, but average about 6+ weeks.

Do you design logos?

I design logos exclusively for small businesses, and women-owned, bipoc-owned, and lgbtq-owned businesses get first priority. I believe everyone deserves affordable access to graphic design services, and I know firsthand how hard it can be getting a new business off the ground. For that reason, I have special discounted pricing for small businesses. Fill out my contact form with your ideas, and I will send you my logo design package pricing.

Will you design a tattoo for me?

I can absolutely do that! Unlike a Tattoo Ticket (which is simply a permission slip/tip jar to tattoo an existing design), a tattoo design commission is treated the same as my illustration commissions. See the "commissions" FAQ for more info.

How do you make your notebooks?

I partner with local husband-and-wife team JustinRyan Books to produce my notebooks. They started out making various log books (pizza log book, taco log book, wine log book), and expanded to custom orders. I design the covers and labels (and interiors in the case of my Tarot Journals), and they print, assemble, bind, and trim every single one by hand. When you buy notebooks from me, you are supporting TWO local small businesses!

Where are your blankets made?

All styles of my blankets are made here in the United States by textile specialists.

My woven throw blankets are woven-to-order with 100% cotton thread at a textile mill in North Carolina. The Carolinas and surrounding areas have a rich history in the textile industry, and they still boast some of the best textile mills in the country.

My knitted blankets are made by a legacy textile mill in New York, where they create heirloom quality knitted goods using high-quality and sustainable yarns.

Are art prints always available for purchase?

Typically, yes! I try to offer a huge selection, so there's something for everybody. Occasionally, I will release a limited edition or seasonal prints that come and go throughout the year, but most of my collection is available year-round.

Can I find your items anywhere in person?

Yes! I started wholesaling in summer of 2022, and have a good handful of stockists. I'm working on including a map on my website, so check back soon to find a shop that stocks my art near you!

Would you like to see my products in a shop near you? Fill out my contact form and let me know which shops you love!

Do you sell wholesale?

Yes! Retailers, please check out my Faire catalog: https://elissamariecreative.faire.com

Feel free to reach out if you are interested in other items are larger quantities.

Why should I support small businesses and artists?

When you shop small business and artists, you are supporting a more sustainable economy and a rich cultural ecosystem. It also makes us do a little dance with every order! Your money goes directly to that person's rent/mortgage, bills, food, business, and other local businesses. It's a beautiful cycle of investing in your community, that then feeds itself time and time again. Shopping local and small creates a better future!

Alternatively, when you shop with large corporations, your money mostly goes toward bloated executives' pockets, further perpetuating the growing wage gaps and environmental damage. Look, we all need convenience occasionally, and sometimes we can ONLY afford the big corporations who can offer exploitatively low pricing. Shopping on Amazon sometimes is inevitable for all of us. But if you can start replacing just a few things with small business purchases, it will go such a long way to steer our collective ship towards more sustainable and local practices -- and help literally feed a real live person and/or family.

Did you draw all this??

Yes! I illustrate and design everything I sell. I have been a maker and artist my entire life -- my earliest memories include drawing, sewing, crafting, imagination play, scene making, cooking, and painting. Simply put, I love making things with my hands, and illustration specifically has become my primary focus in recent years.

Where do you find inspiration?

Everywhere! My brain never stops, y'all. I am mostly inspired by fantasy, nature, whimsy, fairy tales, folklore, creatures, and magick. Almost everything I make is something I want on my own walls, on my body, or in my home, and I am thrilled that so many of you are attracted to the same kinds of things.

How long have you been running your business?

I've been doing commissions and selling small-batch crafts most of my adulthood, but I opened my online art print shop in early 2019 after a decade working in the tech industry. I went full-time with my shop + freelance design work a few months later, and I am so much happier being my own boss. Each year, my business grows and evolves, slowly and sustainably, and I can't wait to show you all the new things I want to make!
